Every year my boyfriend and I plan a mini weekend getaway for Valentine's Day. Here is how it went:
Our first stop was Jack London Square in Oakland to grab brunch for takeout from Home of Chicken and Waffles - 444 Embarcadero W. Whenever you are craving for Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles in Anaheim, this spot is very similar. I expected rain but thankfully the weather turned out perfectly.

En route to our hotel in the city!

No matter how many times I take the Bay Bridge, I will never get over these moments. If you know, you know.

The Clancy, Autograph Collection - 299 2nd St is where we checked in. It is a brand new hotel in downtown SF. We were lucky enough to book a room for only $75! Tip: I highly recommend booking hotel rooms through Hot Wire because they have a list of amazing deals on luxury/boutique hotels for the low. As you can see the ambience is aesthetically pleasing. Modern, artsy, and chic = photo-op worthy. Nakia if you're reading this, the decor instantly reminded me of you. If you were a hotel you'd be this one. The Clancy also provides a coffee shop and a bar located in the lobby. Can I also mention the pink marble coffee table? I need it in my life. Overall, we enjoyed the vibes during our stay.

I appreciate a hotel room with tall glass windows facing a view.

Bay Area couples be like, "Let's grab a bottle." Lmao. It was a Blanco typa night.

*Valentine's dinner pandemic edition* We decided on seafood so we found a spot called Sotto Mare Oysteria and Seafood - 552 Green St. This bucket full of deliciousness is their special "Best Damn Crab Cioppino" yes, that's what it's actually called along with complimentary bread on the side. Rating: 9/10 Also, I am loving this whole cocktail for takeout situation.

The hotel is located in Rincon Hill, SF. It is near the Ferry Building, views of the Bay Bridge, and Union Square.

Views on views.
Every time we plan a staycation in the city, we feel like tourists in our own home. It is honestly one of the most perfect getaways. A Valentine's weekend well spent with my forever Valentine. <3
Thank you for stopping by! Have a blessed day.
