Introducing a segment on my blog called, B.O.A.B (Beauty on a Budget). In this case, part 1 of the segment. I often go on drugstore runs so I've accumulated a set of products these past few months that I've been wanting to create a blogpost for. To all my beauty lovers, can you agree that the drugstore makeup industry has been KILLIN' the game lately? You may have already heard or experienced firsthand how amazing some of these products are but if you have not, well, I am here to inform you why they are amazing.

NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop ($15) - I was very curious to see what this product is all about because there are not many beauty influencers discussing it, therefore, I decided to try it out for myself and it is safe to say that the more I use it the more I fall in love with the outcome. It gives medium coverage but can be buildable. It does not have a strong scent. Finish-wise, I'd say a satin finish. This foundation is quite long-lasting as well.

Loreal Infallible 24hr Wear ($14.99) - This is my absolute holy grail foundation. I repeat, my holy grail. I've been using this product for years. This is the very first foundation I owned. It blends/melts into your skin like a dream. If you're into that skin-like finish but still want coverage, try this one out. If you have a combination skin type like me and deal with oily-ness around your t-zone area throughout the day, I've noticed that this foundation melts off on that specific area so I recommend using a mattifying primer for that matter.

Why purchase overpriced makeup brushes when Japonesque and e.l.f brushes exist? I highly suggest Japonesque's angled blush brush as well as their contour brush. I honestly cannot do my makeup without them. In terms of quality, they feel luxurious and sturdy in comparison to NARS and IT Cosmetics. As for e.l.f, I've been using their stipple brush to apply a light amount of blush and that is exactly what it gives me. Let me put you on an amazing highlighting brush that is very underrated; the precision feather-light brush. Lately, I haven't been into that strong cheekbone highlight moment so the fluffiness and soft-like hairs on this brush help me achieve an all-over subtle glow. ($6-$18)

NYX Butter Gloss ($5) - Hands down the best drugstore lip gloss. This is a product that's been in my makeup collection ever since I started wearing makeup. It's creamy, pigmented, and it does not give you a sticky consistency which is a plus in my book. The shades you need are Fortune Cookie, Praline, Tiramisu, and Madeline. These are my favorite glosses, sorry Fenty I still love you. The butter glosses truly live up to its hype.

I've been on a hunt for a mascara that can help with my straight non-voluminous lash crisis. The hunt was over when TikTok introduced me to the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High ($8.99) mascara. This product works wonders; clump-free. It only lengthens my lashes, however, applying the Loreal Voluminous Primer ($9) underneath causes an even better effect. I think that everyone should own a lash base primer no matter how long or short your eyelashes are. It makes a huge difference.

Kiss MLBB ($3) - I finally found the perfect natural falsies. It states that it is "everyday wearable" and I could not agree more. It gives me a classic lash extension type of look which is what I strive for. Another life-changing product from the same brand is the Kiss Lash Glue Liners ($8) in clear and black. I do not enjoy spending a long period applying falsies so this product has given me less hassle. I am so happy to notice that many brands are coming out with the same concept. If you've been feeling skeptical, I am here to tell you that they work. The falsies do not budge. The black liner in particular is very prominent. A liner and glue in one? Genius.

E.l.f has been carrying the crown for primers lately. They've been coming out with primers that are way better than luxury primers and that speaks volumes. The e.l.f Poreless Putty Primer ($8) and Jellypop Dew Primer ($10) is a combo that I've been loving lately. The putty primer successfully blurs out my pores leaving a smooth canvas. You also get a good amount of product which I appreciate. I honestly had a bad first impression of the Jellypop due to its extremely sticky consistency. I usually do not gravitate towards tacky primers, but now I can see why it works well. This primer grips onto my foundation giving me flawless along with higher longevity. Since it contains a dewy effect, I come out having healthy natural looking skin with coverage. The scent smells yummy by the way!

L.A Girl Just Blushing ($5) - Ever since I recently implemented blush into my makeup routine, I cannot skip that step. It just gives a little extra oomph if you know what I mean. I believe that these blush shades are universal. It will look good on any skin tone. This product is very pigmented, therefore, a little goes a long way. If you are a newbie with blushes and can't seem to figure out shades that will work well for you, get these; Just Because and Just Playful.

NYX Slim Lip Pencil & Suede Matte Lip Liner ($4) - More NYX lip products that live up to its hype. All I can say is that they are creamy and pigmented which is all we want in lip liners right? My favorite shades are Nude Beige and Sandstorm. I could layer any shade of gloss or lipstick on top and it will look beautiful.

L.A Girl Perfect Precision Liner ($2) - Creamy, pigmented, and only $2. Recommended shades: Bare and Sugar & Spice. That is all.

L.A Girl PRO.conceal ($3) - I tend to cream contour for special occasions or if I just feel like adding an extra something to my makeup that day. This $3 product is my go-to. If you are also a light/medium with golden undertones, the shade Almond is a perfect cool tone brown with a slight orange tint to it for that contour/bronzing effect. It has a brush tip that helps you achieve a precise application. Most importantly, it blends in well. We don't want streaks nor do we want blotchiness.

E.l.f 16HR Camo Concealer ($6) - If you have not tried this concealer, what are you doing with your life? Despite it being a full coverage concealer, it does not feel cakey under the eyes whatsoever. For a thick consistent concealer, this product easily blends seamlessly.

Last but not least, the e.l.f Camo Concealer Sponge ($5) - Another reason why my concealer days have been turning out great is because of this sponge. The shape and size help set into every crevice under the eyes from the inner corners to the outer corners. This product works well with any concealer in my opinion. The material is very soft even when it isn't dampened. I've seen influencers use this to blend their foundation which is very intriguing so I have yet to try it out myself.

Stay tuned for more beauty-related blog posts. If you decide to purchase any of these products, I hope you love them just as much as I do! Thank you for reading! Stay safe & protected. Have a blessed day!
